When you are choosing your wedding dress prior to wedding day we don't believe many couples are thinking of how to use the restroom once you are in it.
Let's chat about this forgotten topic.
Our Studio has had brides choose not to drink during wedding day. We have watched them wilt under the stress of the day and almost faint due to no liquid intake. Instead of the possibility of passing out avoid this idea all together.
I have read online where some choose to take the entire dress off.
During our 14 years of weddings we had one bride who wanted to take her dress off. I nixed this idea.Weddings are usually on a tight timeline and to take the dress off and attempt to get in back on properly is a real stress. There is enough in the day that could bring anxiety, let's skip adding something else to that mix.
So how do we fix this conundrum? We make a plan and have our brides use the restroom prior to getting into their dress in the morning.
During a break mid day we have assistants in place to help hold pieces of the dress so that breaks are simple, easy and timely. By the time the reception starts we have assisted and used the restroom many times during the day and it becomes old hat and very easy to stop for a few moments to complete this task.
Don't fret about doing the pee-pee dance. We have you covered. : )
Peace & Love,
Melisa
